Summary:

We are seeking a Camera Development Lead to drive the design, development, and integration of advanced camera systems for next-generation automotive platforms. This role involves leading technical development, architecture, and validation of camera software and hardware components, ensuring high-performance vision systems for ADAS, autonomous driving, and infotainment applications

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end development of automotive camera systems, including firmware, middleware, drivers, and application layers.

Define and own the camera software architecture aligned with system and ADAS requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sensor vendors, hardware, perception, and ADAS teams) to ensure seamless camera integration.

Drive ISP (Image Signal Processor) tuning, calibration, and optimization for various lighting and environmental conditions.

Manage development of camera drivers (CSI-2, GMSL, FPD-Link, Ethernet-based) and integration with automotive SoCs.

Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, MISRA, cybersecurity).

Lead troubleshooting and debugging for performance, image quality, latency, and synchronization issues.

Mentor and guide team members in software development, system integration, and testing best practices.

Coordinate with program management and clients for planning, reporting, and delivery tracking.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Technical Experience:

Strong experience in embedded software development (C/C++), Linux/RTOS, and camera driver development.

Proven expertise in camera systems for ADAS, perception, or infotainment.

Hands-on knowledge of MIPI CSI-2, GMSL, FPD-Link, I2C, and camera sensor bring-up.

Experience with ISP tuning, camera calibration, and image quality optimization.

Knowledge of computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, OpenVX, GStreamer, ROS2, etc.).

Familiarity with synchronization mechanisms (multi-camera setups, sensor fusion with radar/lidar).

Exposure to AUTOSAR, POSIX APIs, and middleware frameworks (SOME/IP, DDS, IPC).

Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434) requirements.

Leadership experience in managing small to mid-sized technical teams.

Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Knowledge of ADAS/Autonomous Driving Perception Stack.

Experience with AI/ML-based image processing pipelines.

Familiarity with GPU/accelerator offloading (CUDA, OpenCL, TensorRT).

Exposure to validation tools and HIL/SIL test frameworks.

Prior work with Tier-1s/OEMs camera projects in automotive
