Role: Software Development Engineer focused on building and deploying computer vision systems for robotics applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize software systems for perception, navigation, and planning using computer vision
- Lead scalable, high-performance computer vision pipelines including model integration and deployment
- Translate research into production-ready solutions ensuring safety and reliability
- Create metrics, evaluation frameworks, and testing infrastructure to assess system performance
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning and computer vision models into production systems
- 8+ years of professional software development experience; experience mentoring or leading teams
- 5+ years of programming in at least one language
- Experience in system design, architecture, and scaling
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, ML, or related field
- Preferred: experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), model deployment tools, real-time or embedded systems, and a proven track record in research publications or patents
