We are looking for a talented Computer Vision Scientist to join a leading global technology company's growing London-based AI research team. The team sits at the forefront of AI innovation, focused on multimodal large models, vision-language understanding, and embodied intelligence.

This is a senior-level role, but Junior candidates welcome! This role offers genuine potential to step up and grow into a senior grade, with genuine opportunity to make a real impact early in your research career.

What you'll do

🔹 Develop and improve ViT (Vision Transformer) and multimodal large model architectures

🔹 Advance multimodal alignment, representation learning, and long-context modelling

🔹 Work hands-on with MLLM (Multimodal Large Language Models) and VLM (Vision-Language Models)

🔹 Build and maintain large-scale multimodal datasets (image, video, audio, text)

🔹 Support large-scale training systems, including GPU/cluster optimization and training infrastructure

🔹 Translate cutting-edge research into real-world, production-ready applications

What we're looking for

✅ Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics

✅ Strong hands-on experience with Python and PyTorch

✅ Practical experience with MLLM, VLM, and ViT architectures

✅ Publications at top AI/CV conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) a strong plus

✅ Self-driven, resilient, and passionate about advancing AI
