Role Description

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced computer vision and AI algorithms that enable autonomous robotic systems to perceive and interact with complex real-world environments
  • Build high-performance perception pipelines utilizing data from cameras, LiDAR, and other sensors for applications such as object detection, segmentation, localization, pose estimation, and navigation
  • Develop, train, optimize, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for production robotic systems operating in the field
  • Collaborate closely with Robotics, Software, and Hardware Engineering teams to integrate perception algorithms into autonomous robotic platforms
  • Improve the end-to-end AI development lifecycle by enhancing data pipelines, model training workflows, CI/CD processes, validation frameworks, and production monitoring
  • Perform sensor integration, calibration, and testing across multiple perception technologies including cameras, LiDAR, depth sensors, and IMU
  • Conduct field testing, troubleshoot perception and autonomy challenges, analyze system performance, and implement continuous improvements based on real-world deployment
  • Optimize AI models for performance, latency, reliability, and deployment on embedded or edge computing platforms
  • Help define the long-term perception architecture, sensor strategy, and technical roadmap for next-generation autonomous robotic systems
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and Physical AI, introducing innovative approaches that improve system capabilities and performance


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline
  • Proven industry experience developing production-grade computer vision and AI solutions using Python and/or C++ for deployed robotic or autonomous systems
  • Hands-on experience with robotic software frameworks such as ROS or ROS 2, along with perception pipelines utilizing cameras, LiDAR, depth sensors, IMUs, or similar technologies
  • es.Strong expertise in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV), including model training, optimization, and deployment
