Innovation Engineer - Applied AI & Computer Vision

Major Responsibilities & Duties

• Apply knowledge of hardware, software, and cutting-edge technology (specifically Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and other AI technologies) to drive operational efficiencies and world-class guest experiences
• Design, develop, and deploy computer vision and AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency and guest experience
• Lead end-to-end solution development
• Work with video/image data pipelines, including data collection, labeling, training, and model evaluation
• Serve as technical expert to bridge IT, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders to deliver projects with technical components
• Conduct proof-of-concept studies as appropriate performing analysis such as time motion, 5 Whys, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
• Invent and innovate to solve problems, potentially through product development or redesign
• Manage projects from concept to production; keep projects on schedule and within budget, includes crafting meaningful reports / updates
• Facilitate / lead stakeholders across various departments to deliver results, promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Develop and deploy robust, low-latency video systems for live operations
• Own end-to-end production delivery (performance, reliability, monitoring)
• Drive solutions tied to clear, quantifiable business outcomes
• Prioritize practical, scalable implementations over research or experimentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, or applied AI roles
• Strong hands-on experience in computer vision and deep learning, including; Image/video processing, Object detection, tracking, classification, Facial recognition or biometric systems
• Familiarity with data pipelines, model training workflows, and MLOps practices
• Experience with real-time systems or video stream processing
• Experience with robotics, Internet of Things, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Machine Learning and/or Azure Cloud Services.
• Demonstrated expertise in driving innovation into production, improved and measured business impact
