Data Science Specialist

Develops applications and systems that utilize AI tools, Cloud AI services, with proper cloud or on-prem application pipeline with production ready quality. Be able to apply GenAI models as part of the solution. Could also include but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, image processing.

Summary:

As an AI / Machine Learning Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies. This role requires integrating cloud-based or on-premises solutions to ensure production-ready quality. The engineer collaborates with various teams to implement innovative models, including generative artificial intelligence, deep learning, and neural networks, to address complex challenges and enhance system capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster continuous learning.

Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals and deliverables.

Monitor project progress and implement improvements to optimize workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Data Science.

Strong foundation in statistical methods and machine learning techniques.

Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment of AI models in production environments.

Proficient in programming languages commonly used in data science such as Python or R.

Ability to work with large datasets and apply data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science.

This position is based at our Manila office.
