  • Create upgrade and rollback mechanisms that minimize downtime.
  • Implement backup and restore processes for mission-critical environments.
  • Improve deployment efficiency through automation and infrastructure tooling.

DevOps & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Support performance profiling, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Evaluate AI-assisted diagnostics, predictive testing, and monitoring solutions to improve platform reliability.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance deployment processes and engineering productivity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with software, robotics, computer vision, infrastructure, and field engineering teams.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and platform design decisions.
  • Document system designs, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems software development, infrastructure software, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux (Ubuntu preferred).
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
  • Experience developing deployment, provisioning, configuration, or automation tools.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system integration principles.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software release processes.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating cameras, GPUs, embedded devices, network hardware, or robotic systems.
  • Experience with NVIDIA GPU environments and high-performance computing workloads.
  • Knowledge of Ubuntu Autoinstall, Cloud-Init, PXE boot, and system imaging.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux performance tuning and profiling.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Understanding of distributed systems architecture.
  • Experience supporting production-critical deployments with high reliability requirements.
