Payroll Specialist

Role overview Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Payroll Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll make sure everyone is paid correctly and on time, every cycle. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST). Key responsibilities - Run end-to-end monthly and weekly payroll cycles - Process starters, leavers and contract changes - Handle statutory deductions, pensions and payroll queries - Reconcile payroll reports and post journals to finance - Keep payroll records accurate and compliant What you'll need - Hands-on payroll processing experience - Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Xero Payroll or BrightPay - Strong numeracy and a careful, methodical approach - Clear written and spoken English - A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace What's on offer A salary of R26,000 – R30,000 per month, fully remote work, UK business hours, and a stable long-term UK client.
