We are looking for a Mid Backend Developer with strong Python development experience to join the Ratings & LGD Team within the Credit Risk area. This team develops and maintains business-critical applications used for counterparty rating management and LGD calculation, working closely with colleagues in Paris as part of an international Credit Risk organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and test multiple application components.
• Gather, document, analyze, and manage application requirements in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams across different locations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing applications and processes.
• Identify and propose performance optimizations and innovative solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment.

Technical Requirements

Strong experience with Python (approximately 60–70% of the role)

Experience with:

• C#
• SQL / T-SQL
• Web APIs
• ORM or Micro-ORM frameworks (e.g., Dapper)

Automated testing experience, including:

• Pytest
• Unit Testing
• Integration Testing
• Functional Testing

Knowledge of:

• NUnit
• Selenium
• CI/CD pipelines
• Azure DevOps
• Git

Nice to have:

• Telerik Kendo UI
• XL Release
• XL Deploy
