Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AI / Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy next-generation AI agents and intelligent automation solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using LLMs, agentic workflows, APIs, and modern AI frameworks.
This is a local, onsite opportunity in Concord, CA, and candidates must be available for a 1-hour in-person interview and coding assessment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI agents and Agentic AI workflows for business applications.
- Build LLM-powered applications using models such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
- Develop multi-step agent workflows involving reasoning, tool calling, planning, and decision-making.
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and internal systems.
- Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent.
- Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
- Develop reliable prompts, tools, memory, guardrails, and evaluation strategies for AI agents.
- Build and maintain Python-based AI services and APIs.
- Optimize AI applications for performance, scalability, accuracy, and cost.
- Implement testing and evaluation methodologies for LLM and agent-based systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience developing production-grade AI/ML applications.
- Experience with LLM APIs and prompt engineering.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Experience building AI agents capable of tool/function calling and multi-step workflows.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
- Experience with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Milvus, or pgvector.
- Experience with AI observability, evaluation, and agent reliability.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production deployment.
- Experience with multi-agent architectures and autonomous workflows.
