Indexed description

We're a profitable, well-known Melbourne events and exhibitions company, and we've built a small, fast-moving AI team that ships real products used across the business. We're looking for a full-stack engineer, fluent with AI, to help us build and scale them.

This is a build role, not a research role. You should be a strong full-stack engineer first, someone who ships polished web product to production, who also works comfortably with LLM and generative APIs as the material you build with. Just as important: you use AI coding agents as a core part of how you work. Our platforms are already live with real users, and the work is expanding: parametric design tools, AI visualisation, shared validation services, asset management, and generative image and video pipelines. You'd own features end to end, from design through to production, alongside a lead and one other engineer.

What you'd do

  • Build and ship full-stack features across several live products
  • Work in an agent-first workflow, using coding agents daily to move fast without dropping quality
  • Wire in LLM and generative image/video APIs, and make them reliable in production
  • Take features from idea to production: design, build, test, deploy, iterate
  • Own your work and its quality, with real autonomy and real accountability

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience shipping full-stack products to production, not just prototypes
  • Fluent with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as a central part of how you build, not an occasional helper
  • Strong with a modern React-based framework and a SQL/Postgres backend
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs; image, vision, 3D or generative-media experience a real plus
  • Comfortable working fast in a small team where you own decisions and outcomes
  • Pragmatic, product-minded, and able to work directly with non-technical stakeholders

The environment

  • Small team, high ownership, things ship in days not months
  • Commercial, client-facing pace, this is a business that delivers, not a lab
  • Fully on-site in our Abbotsford office (this is a genuinely collaborative in-person team)
  • Full Australian working rights required

If you've shipped things you're proud of and want to own real product in a place that moves quickly, we'd like to hear from you. Send your CV and links to anything you've built, live apps, repos, whatever shows your work.
