LLM Engineer (RAG) at BairesDev

As an LLM Engineer specializing in RAG, you will design and implement advanced retrieval-augmented generation systems to ground large language models with external knowledge. You will connect complex data architectures with generative AI, ensuring that model outputs are accurate, context-aware, and factual.

What You'll Do

• Design and manage high-performance vector database architectures using tools like Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines, implementing effective chunking and embedding strategies for unstructured data.
• Implement sophisticated reranking algorithms and hybrid search patterns to improve retrieval precision and recall.
• Build and maintain evaluation frameworks like RAGAS to measure and ensure the quality of generated responses.
• Optimize the end-to-end RAG pipeline for low latency and high throughput in production environments.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in AI Engineering, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and optimizing RAG pipelines and hybrid search.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and working with vector databases like Pinecone, Qdrant, or Weaviate.
• Solid understanding of embeddings, chunking strategies, and reranking algorithms.
• Experience with evaluation frameworks such as RAGAS to ensure model performance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
