Senior Odoo Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an ERP Developer (Odoo) to join our IT team and design, develop, customize, and implement Odoo ERP solutions aligned with our business processes. This role focuses on building and enhancing Odoo modules, ensuring system reliability and performance, and integrating the ERP with internal and external applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Odoo development experience, advanced Python/PostgreSQL skills, and an interest in leveraging AI and predictive analytics to support the organization's digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

* Odoo Development & Customization: Develop new Odoo modules and enhance existing ones using Python, XML, JavaScript, and QWEB. Customize views, forms, menus, reports, dashboards, and workflows to match business requirements.

* Business Analysis & System Alignment: Gather and analyze business requirements, convert them into scalable technical solutions, perform gap analysis, and recommend system improvements.

* Backend & Database Management: Manage PostgreSQL databases, optimize SQL queries, perform migrations, and ensure data integrity. Maintain server environments, deployment pipelines, and version control using Git.

* Implementation & Cloud Deployment: Configure core Odoo modules (Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, CRM, Manufacturing) and deploy systems in cloud/containerized environments as required.

* AI & Machine Learning Integration: Utilize AI/ML models to enhance Odoo functionalities such as predictive inventory forecasting, automated lead scoring, and smart workflow recommendations.

Systems & Tools:

1- Odoo ERP (Enterprise & Community)

2- Advanced Python, XML/QWEB, JavaScript

3- Advanced SQL knowledge

4- PostgreSQL (queries, migrations, optimization)

5- Git / GitHub / GitLab, Linux server environments

6- Docker, AWS / DigitalOcean (plus)

Business Process Knowledge:

Candidates should have solid understanding of ERP business workflows and functional domains, including:

* Accounting & Invoicing

* Inventory & Manufacturing

* Human Resources

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

* 3-5 years of hands-on Odoo development experience

* Proven track record in module development, implementation, and ERP customization

* Strong expertise in Odoo Framework, ORM, and Odoo APIs

* Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, and microservices integration

* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

* Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
