We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong TypeScript, AWS, and Applied AI experience to help transform AI research into scalable, production-ready products. You'll work alongside AI researchers, product managers, and experienced engineers to build intelligent features that power personalized player experiences.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll own the design, development, deployment, and operation of AI-powered services used in production.

What You'll Do

• Build and deploy production-grade AI services from research prototypes.
• Develop scalable recommendation, personalization, search, and ranking systems.
• Build and operate low-latency, high-performance backend services.
• Design cloud-native applications on AWS using modern engineering practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with AI researchers to productionize machine learning and LLM-powered solutions.
• Measure model performance and continuously improve AI features through experimentation and data-driven insights.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices across the team.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Experience building and operating applications on AWS.
• Experience delivering AI or machine learning features into production.
• Knowledge of recommendation systems, search, ranking, personalization, or LLM-powered applications.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability.
• Strong understanding of scalable, distributed systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Generative AI and LLMs
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Embeddings and vector databases
• Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
