Software Engineer

As a Mid-Level Software Engineer, you'll play an active role in designing, building, and improving the systems that process large volumes of device-generated data into meaningful insights for our customers. Working closely with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment, you'll contribute across the full stack while taking increasing ownership of features and technical decisions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Design, implement, and improve features that help transform device-generated data into valuable customer insights.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design new systems and evolve our existing architecture.
- Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile ceremonies to continuously improve our engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to a culture of quality by following software engineering best practices, testing, and documentation standards.
You bring
- Around 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Git and our core technology stack:
- React & TypeScript
- Python
- PostgreSQL
- AWS services
- Experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or creative agencies.
- Ability to collaborate on the design and implementation of new systems alongside senior engineers.
- Basic visual and UX awareness with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience working with data-intensive applications, APIs, or distributed systems.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
- Interest in IoT, data products, sustainability, or reducing food waste.
- Experience contributing to architectural discussions or technical improvements.
- Valid work authorization in the EU or Switzerland.
- Based in Spain, Portugal, or Croatia (preferred).
- Fluent English (C1 or higher).
