Software Engineer (AI Product)

Location: New York City (preferred) | Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, or Fort Washington, PA

Compensation: $190,000–$225,000 Base + 20% Bonus

Engineering plays a critical role in that transformation by building products that enable business leaders to analyze data, identify trends, and make more informed investment and operational decisions.

About the Role

You'll join a small, highly collaborative Innovation team working alongside Product and Design to build AI-powered software used by investment and asset management teams across the organization. The platform is already live and continues to evolve with new capabilities focused on predictive analytics, intelligent workflows, and data-driven decision making.

Working in a startup-like environment within a larger enterprise, you'll have significant ownership over the product and the opportunity to influence both its technical direction and future capabilities. You'll partner closely with engineers, designers, product leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready software that supports high-impact decisions across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Build scalable, production-ready full-stack applications.
• Develop AI-powered features that improve business workflows and decision making.
• Partner closely with Product and Design from idea through production.
• Build intuitive user experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.
• Contribute to machine learning-enabled products and predictive analytics capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand problems and translate them into technical solutions.
• Help establish engineering best practices while contributing to a growing product team.

What You'll Bring

• Experience building production-quality full-stack applications.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with React or another modern frontend framework such as Vue.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js.
• Exposure to AI applications, LLMs, machine learning, or intelligent automation.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Curiosity, ownership, and a product-oriented mindset.

Preferred Experience

Experience within software, technology, financial services, fintech, proptech, or real estate technology environments is highly valued. Candidates who enjoy building products from the ground up and working closely with cross-functional teams will thrive in this role.
