Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Position

At Erateks Tekstil, we are developing a next-generation, web-based and AI-enabled ERP platform. The platform aims to incorporate advanced AI, optimization, and decision-support capabilities into our production and operational processes.

We are looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer who will take an active role in developing production planning and optimization algorithms, leveraging enterprise data through AI models, and integrating AI services into the ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop AI-based production planning and decision-support models
• Develop optimization algorithms considering production capacity, orders, delivery deadlines, machines, operations, and resource constraints
• Work on mathematical modeling, scheduling, and optimization problems
• Develop machine learning and forecasting models
• Develop enterprise AI applications based on LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents
• Integrate AI models with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems
• Develop and expose AI services through APIs
• Monitor and continuously improve model accuracy, performance, and output quality
• Contribute to model versioning, deployment, and MLOps processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in AI, data science, optimization, or related software development fields
• Advanced software development experience with Python, including hands-on project experience with OR-Tools, Pyomo, or similar optimization libraries
• Experience in Machine Learning and data analysis
• Knowledge or project experience in optimization algorithms and mathematical modeling
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of REST API development and system integrations
• Hands-on experience developing AI services with FastAPI
• Proficient in Git and version control processes
• Experience with LLM, RAG, Vector Database, and AI Agent architectures
• Knowledge or experience with Docker and MLOps processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, or APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) systems
• Experience developing AI platforms integrated with ERP and/or MES systems
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, and MSSQL
