AI Engineer

As part of our digital transformation journey, we are looking for an AI Engineer to design and develop AI-powered solutions that enhance operational efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and create innovative digital experiences across Memorial Healthcare Group. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and intelligent automation technologies to deliver scalable solutions with measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Engineering, or a related field,
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience,
• Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language,
• Hands-on experience developing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs),
• Experience with Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agent architectures, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Function Calling, and Tool Calling,
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services,
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or similar AI platforms and foundation models,
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar technologies,
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, vector databases, embedding technologies, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD practices,
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms,
• Strong understanding of software architecture, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills,
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications that support enterprise business processes,
• Build scalable AI solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agent architectures,
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications and digital platforms,
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive their adoption across the organization,
• Optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of AI solutions while contributing to engineering standards and best practices,
• Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams to identify AI use cases, deliver business value, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
