Job Description:

The Role and Impact: As an AI Frameworks Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of cutting-edge artificial intelligence frameworks. You will focus on designing and implementing AI software solutions that enhance performance across diverse hardware and platforms, contribute to AI framework optimizations, communication collectives development, as well as new GPU HW enablement. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop AI frameworks and solutions optimized for different Intel products. - Implement distributed algorithms, including compute and communication overlap, kernel fusion to deliver peak performance. - Profile key models to identify performance bottlenecks and work collaboratively to propose and implement optimizations. - Contribute to open-source AI projects and ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field with 0 - 1 years of hands-on experience in AI frameworks and algorithms, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training - Proficiency in modern C++ and Python programming languages. - Foundational understanding of deep learning theories and concepts. - Familiarity with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, vLLM and SGLang. - Demonstrated ability to debug and optimize software for performance across hardware platforms. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in performance optimization techniques and technologies. - Familiarity with large language models (LLM) and inference stacks, along with a deep understanding of model structure. - Proven ability to contribute to open-source projects or collaborate within open-source ecosystems. - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities for addressing complex technical challenges. - Effective communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
