Job Overview
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI solutions that address complex business and operational challenges. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products—from data strategy and model development to deployment and optimization—while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions across Smart City and intelligent platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions, taking ownership of the entire model lifecycle from research and experimentation to monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Lead the development of advanced Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Vision-Language Model (VLM) solutions to solve real-world challenges across Smart City, surveillance, analytics, and intelligent automation domains.
- Optimize and deploy AI models across cloud and edge environments, ensuring high performance, scalability, reliability, and efficient resource utilization on specialized hardware platforms.
- Design and implement scalable AI architectures and MLOps pipelines covering data collection, labeling, training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and model governance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into end-to-end AI solutions with measurable impact.
- Drive technical decision-making, evaluate emerging technologies, and establish best practices for AI development, deployment, and operational excellence.
- Develop and optimize real-time video analytics and streaming systems, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and production-grade reliability.
- Mentor engineering teams, contribute to technical leadership, and foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/Machine Learning with proven success delivering AI solutions in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++, with extensive experience using modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of state-of-the-art machine learning architectures, including Computer Vision, Generative AI, Transformers, Vision Transformers (ViT), Diffusion Models, and Vision-Language Models (VLMs).
- Proven experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining AI systems in production, including performance monitoring, optimization, and lifecycle management.
- Strong expertise in solving complex Computer Vision problems, including image understanding, object detection, tracking, video analytics, and multimodal AI applications.
- Hands-on experience optimizing AI models using technologies such as TensorRT, ONNX, model quantization, and hardware acceleration techniques.
- Experience building and deploying real-time video processing systems using NVIDIA DeepStream, GStreamer, or similar streaming frameworks.
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices and tools, including MLflow, Weights & Biases (W&B), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring frameworks.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and microservices architectures to support large-scale AI applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering AI solutions within Smart City, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Security & Surveillance, IoT, or Consumer Technology environments.
- Experience building Generative AI applications, multimodal RAG systems, AI agents, or large-scale foundation model integrations.
- Familiarity with distributed training, large-scale data processing, and GPU cluster optimization.
- Contributions to academic research, patents, open-source AI frameworks, or published technical content.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions across cross-functional teams.
- Master's degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
