Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (4 years of relevant experience) to support ML and AI projects in Brussels. This is a one-year assignment following a hybrid working model, with 50% on-site work and 50% remote work. The start date is as soon as possible

Key responsibilities

• Develop production-ready ML pipelines and integrate existing ML solutions into industrial pipelines.
• Contribute to the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI services.
• Perform data quality checks and contribute to data flow and model design.
• Work with Data Scientists to define target solutions while considering production constraints.
• Select the appropriate runtime infrastructure, serving model, data ingestion scheme, and API synchronicity.
• Automate ML pipeline components for integration and production deployment.
• Build Docker or VM images and prepare unit, regression, and integration tests.
• Support Data Scientists in using CI/CD tools to build and monitor AI services.
• Support IT Production with target environment parameterization.
• Ensure models run without errors, are retrained when required, and are monitored from IT and business perspectives.

Must-Have Requirements

• Advanced Python knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of containerization and virtualization is required.
• Experience with AI platforms and IDEs is required.
• Experience with CI/CD using GitLab CI is required.
• Knowledge of code, model, and data versioning is required.
• Experience with package management tools and dependency management is required.
• PostgreSQL knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology is required.
• English proficiency
