Junior Python Developer – Front Office Trading

Elevate Partners is partnering with a leading international financial services organisation seeking a Junior Python Developer to join its front-office technology team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in trading and financial markets who wants to develop their career while sitting directly alongside experienced traders.

You will learn how a trading desk operates while building Python-based tools, analytics and automation that support the team’s daily decision-making and workflows.

The role will involve:

• Working directly with traders and front-office stakeholders

• Developing trading tools and workflow applications using Python

• Automating repetitive desk processes

• Working with market, portfolio and risk data

• Supporting and improving applications used by the trading desk

• Exploring AI-enabled tools and new approaches to automation

We are looking for someone with:

• Commercial or project-based Python coding experience

• A genuine interest in trading and financial markets

• Strong problem-solving and analytical ability

• A willingness to expand their coding and software-development skills

• Good communication skills and confidence working with business users

• Exposure to SQL, data engineering, React, JavaScript or cloud technology would be beneficial

The organisation is particularly interested in someone technically capable, curious and motivated to learn directly from the traders around them.
