Lead Engineer (AI, Platforms & Integration)

This position requires a strong engineering background combined with experience in AI-enabled solutions, platform integrations, and direct client engagement.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of enterprise solutions that combine software engineering, AI capabilities, system integrations, and platform-based implementations. You will work closely with clients, product teams, and engineers to translate business requirements into

scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation across applications, integrations, and platforms
• Architect and develop solutions using a mix of custom engineering, automation tools, and AI services
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements, propose technical solutions, and drive delivery
• Guide teams on best practices for design, performance, security, and maintainability
• Apply AI and LLM capabilities to enhance workflows, decision-making, and user experiences
• Oversee integrations across SaaS applications, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and long-term platform strategy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 6–10 years of overall software engineering or solution engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in system design, object-oriented concepts, and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with one or more platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Workato, or similar tools
• Experience building and integrating solutions using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures
• Working knowledge of AI concepts and large language models (LLMs)
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions and present solutions to clients and stakeholders
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Exposure to Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or similar AI platforms
• Background in consulting or client-facing delivery roles
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading small technical teams
