Location: Charlotte, NC / New York, NY

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Required Skills

• Strong Python development skills with experience building scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Python, FastAPI/Flask/Django, REST APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Stress Testing, or CCAR processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, including data modeling, SQL optimization, ETL/data processing, and data quality controls.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven and messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or similar platforms used in high-volume processing environments.
• Experience with Python data processing libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, Git, Agile delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams.
