About the Company
We're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to architect and ship agentic AI systems in direct support of U.S. Government partners tackling fraud, waste, and abuse, a trillion-dollar problem.
**CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN WASHINGTON D.C. 5 DAYS PER WEEK**
About the Role
You'll embed with federal agency partners, turn their mission requirements into working systems, and build the AI tooling that helps identify fraudulent contractors and stop future fraudulent spending.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy agentic AI systems (multi-agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents) for high-stakes U.S. Government missions.
- Embed directly with federal agency partners to surface mission requirements and convert them into working technical systems.
- Analyze public and restricted government databases to identify fraudulent contractors and prevent future fraudulent spending.
- Travel locally across D.C. to government sites such as the Pentagon and federal agencies. No cross-state travel required.
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of engineering experience.
Required Skills
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, and multi-agent frameworks.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with distributed systems.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Willing to work on-site 5 days a week in McLean, VA, with travel to client sites in Washington, D.C.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with reinforcement learning.
- Experience with ML infrastructure.
