Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Our Dublin based client are looking for a Senior Engineer, AI to join their team on a permanent basis

For this role they are looking for an individual who has experience in AI as it's a major part of the role and journey this company are on

You will be part of a growing team and be the subject matter expert for AI Development in Dublin The position is with a well established company who are a market leader in their sector.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the AI architecture and standards
• Lead on the overall AI strategy, roadmap
• Research the relevant AI tools to solve specific business problems
• Lead on the proof-of-concept (PoC) trials for new technologies and manage relationships with AI vendors and consultants.
• Design and deliver AI, automation, and data solutions across various departments in the company.
• Cross collaboration and engagement is a key skill
• Integrate AI capabilities into ERP, APIs, and enterprise platforms
• Establish ethical, secure, and GDPR‑compliant AI guardrails
• Leadership in a hands-on and highly technical role
• Manage and mentor a team and help to hire

Requirements:

• 7+ years of software development or architecture experience, with at least 3-4 years in senior or management level roles
• Have significant experience architecting and building enterprise-wide cloud-native solutions.
• Programming skills and a background in Python
• Ideally have exposure to projects for Digital Transformation
• Gen AI and Intelligent systems that include LLM, RAG and Agentic
• AI Hands on experience with Gen AI systems would be an advantage
