B2B Renew is a fast-growing U.S. reverse logistics and e-commerce company serving consumer electronics brands.

We manage returned products through warehousing, inspection, refurbishment, inventory management, resale and fulfillment. As our operations continue to grow, we are looking to use AI and automation to improve internal workflows and operating efficiency.

We are looking for an AI Agent Software Engineer to build practical AI tools and automation systems that can be used across the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI Agents for real business workflows
• Develop internal AI tools and automation systems
• Build AI-powered internal knowledge and search tools
• Connect AI Agents with company databases and internal systems
• Automate repetitive workflows across operations, inventory, e-commerce and administration
• Build and maintain backend services supporting AI applications
• Improve the accuracy, reliability and performance of AI systems
• Work directly with management and different departments to identify processes that can be improved with AI
• Take projects from initial idea through development, testing and deployment

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering and programming skills
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience building AI Agents or LLM-powered applications
• Experience working with APIs, databases and backend systems
• Understanding of RAG, tool calling and AI workflow automation
• Ability to design and build complete applications independently
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions

Preferred

• Experience deploying AI applications in a production environment
• Experience with AI Agent frameworks and automation tools
• Experience building internal business tools
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and databases
• Experience in e-commerce, logistics, warehouse operations or supply chain is a plus

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who has actually built AI applications, not someone whose AI experience is limited to using AI tools.

The ideal candidate should be able to take a real operational problem, understand the workflow, design an AI-based solution and build it into a working system that employees can actually use.

This role will work closely with management and will have the opportunity to build AI systems across multiple parts of the company's operations.
