My client is looking for a Generative AI Engineer to join a growing technology consultancy delivering innovative AI solutions for leading insurance providers.
You'll be working on cutting-edge projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and intelligent automation, helping insurers improve customer service, streamline claims processing, enhance underwriting, and unlock value from enterprise data.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy production-ready Generative AI and machine learning solutions.
- Build enterprise AI assistants, copilots, and intelligent chatbots using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent frameworks.
- Develop AI-powered solutions for insurance use cases including claims handling, policy servicing, underwriting support, fraud detection, and customer engagement.
- Engineer scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured insurance data, including policy documents, claims files, emails, and knowledge repositories.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, REST APIs, databases, document management systems, and cloud platforms.
- Optimize AI applications for performance, scalability, security, explainability, and cost efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 2–8 years' experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning or AI applications into production.
- Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or conversational AI.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured enterprise data.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks.
- Experience integrating APIs and deploying applications using Docker or container technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, Llama, or other foundation models.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS.
- Experience building enterprise AI assistants, document intelligence solutions, or workflow automation platforms.
- Exposure to Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud AI services.
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud-native AI deployments.
