Digital Integration Engineer


  • Brisbane-based role with flexible working arrangements and occasional site
  • 12 month contract with view for extension
  • Monday to Friday in Brisbane CBD


We are seeking an experienced Digital Integration Engineer to develop and deliver digital, automation and AI-driven solutions that improve operational performance, asset reliability and business decision-making.


Working across engineering, operations and technology teams, you will identify opportunities for improvement, develop scalable analytics and machine learning solutions, and embed digital tools into day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and deliver digital, automation and AI initiatives that improve operational performance.
  • Develop machine learning and advanced analytics solutions for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, forecasting and optimisation.
  • Translate operational and engineering requirements into practical digital solutions.
  • Integrate digital models with operational systems including SCADA, PI, SAP and other enterprise platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver projects, communicate insights and drive adoption.
  • Continuously improve deployed solutions and identify new opportunities to create business value.


About You


You are a self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders.


You will have:


  • A degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience with Python, SQL, machine learning, statistical modelling and time-series analytics.
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure, Git and cloud-based analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of operational systems such as PI, SCADA, SAP, Maximo or similar is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and project delivery skills.
