Key Responsibilities

ABB Heidelberg is looking for a dedicated Software Developer (f/m/d) to develop and optimize innovative machine software. You will work in a motivated team on highly specialized custom-built machines and actively help shape the future of technology.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Developing and enhancing machine software
• Designing and optimizing database systems
• Integrating and controlling networked, highly automated systems
• Performing systematic troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications For The Role

• Hands-on experience with TwinCAT (ideally TwinCAT 3)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management
• Experience with networked systems and IoT technologies
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, as well as advanced English proficiency
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills
• A background in special machinery engineering is a plus
