Backend AI engineer

We’re seeking an innovative and hands-on Backend AI Engineer with experience building scalable backend systems and AI-powered applications. Success in this role includes designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that support machine learning and AI-driven capabilities across our platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams to integrate AI technologies into enterprise-grade solutions while ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning infrastructure development
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, Go, or similar backend development languages
• Experience building and maintaining scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Handson experience integrating AI/ML models into production environments
• Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI frameworks, vector databases, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration tools
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of databases, data pipelines, and backend architecture best practices
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks
• Strong problemsolving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working autonomously in fastpaced, ambiguous, and crossfunctional environments

• Experience building AIpowered enterprise SaaS platforms or cybersecurityfocused applications
• Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, Pinecone, Redis, or similar AI ecosystem technologies
• Knowledge of machine learning lifecycle management, model monitoring, and optimization techniques
• Understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and secure software development practices
• Experience working with eventdriven architectures and realtime processing systems
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and UX teams to deliver customercentric AI capabilities
• Passion for staying current with rapidly evolving AI technologies and industry trends
• Experience contributing to architecture decisions and technical strategy discussions
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
