Algorithm & AI Developer (m/w/d) - Industrial Diagnostics

As a future-oriented high-tech company, qualified and motivated employees are an important factor in our success. To ensure that we can continue to operate successfully in the market, we need people who pursue our shared goals with commitment and dedication.

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an Algorithm & AI Developer (m/f/d) – Industrial Diagnostics, who will develop intelligent analysis methods and AI-supported diagnostic functions.

Your responsibilities:

Signal Processing & Data Analysis

You develop methods for analyzing electrochemical measurement data and additional operating data. In doing so, you implement algorithms for signal preprocessing, feature extraction and the reliable evaluation of complex measurement data.

Algorithms & Artificial Intelligence

You develop modern analysis algorithms as well as machine learning and AI models for condition assessment, fault diagnosis and performance analysis of electrolysis systems. In addition, you work on predictive models, anomaly detection and the continuous further development of data-based diagnostic methods.

Software Development & Product Integration

You develop production-ready software modules and integrate analysis functions into our software platform. Together with our software developers, you ensure that algorithms can be used in the product in a performant, scalable and reliable way.

Validation & Innovation

You validate existing models and continuously refine the methods used. In doing so, you work closely with the software development, hardware development and application teams.

Your profile:

Education & Qualifications

You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, data science, physics, mathematics or electrical engineering.

Professional Experience

You have at least five years of professional experience in the development of data-driven software solutions, algorithms or machine learning applications.

Technical Skills

You have sound knowledge of Python and modern libraries for data analysis and machine learning, such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow. Experience in signal processing, statistical data analysis or time series analysis is required.

Working Style & Personality

You work analytically, in a structured manner and with a solution-oriented mindset. Complex technical challenges motivate you, as does the development of sustainable software solutions. You are characterized by initiative, team spirit and high quality standards.

Language Skills

Excellent German language skills or native level in German, as well as excellent written and spoken English skills, are essential due to the close collaboration within our development and technical departments.

Desirable Additional Qualifications

Ideally, you already have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
  • Predictive maintenance or condition monitoring
  • Energy technology or hydrogen technologies
  • MLOps, Docker or cloud platforms
  • C/C++ for high-performance calculations
  • Physical modeling or electrochemical systems

Our offer:

  • Work on innovative AI solutions in a deep-tech environment
  • An innovative working environment with short communication and decision-making paths
  • A high-quality, well-equipped workplace including laptop and iPhone
  • The option to work flexibly from home or remotely
  • Individual training and development opportunities
  • Childcare subsidy
  • 30 days of vacation
  • Free drinks as well as coffee and tea in our own cafeteria
