Forward Deployed Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews in both Arabic and English to gather requirements and document end-to-end business processes.
• Translate business needs into clear, implementation-ready requirements and identify opportunities to deliver value through automation.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade automations using n8n, including system integrations, AI-powered workflows, and document processing solutions.
• Leverage agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenCode as a primary development approach, while validating and refining generated outputs.
• Develop integrations with Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Graph API, PostgreSQL databases, and external third-party platforms.
• Design, implement, and assess LLM-driven workflow components, including prompt engineering, structured outputs, retrieval mechanisms, and performance evaluation.
• Take ownership of solution deployment, monitoring, documentation, user training, and operational handover.

Security

• Understand the security and hardening requirements of self-hosted environments and clearly define those requirements for operational and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure appropriate audit logging is built into automations that perform actions on behalf of users.
• Apply data classification and governance principles when designing solutions, ensuring sensitive information is handled appropriately and escalated when required.
• Promote secure development practices, including identity management, access controls, and secrets handling.

Essential Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• 3+ years of experience across requirements definition and solution delivery in roles such as Functional Design Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, Automation Engineer, or similar.
• Proven experience delivering automation solutions or software applications into production environments.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and the ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code and outputs.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, with practical experience working with APIs, JSON, OAuth, webhooks, SQL, and Git.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, including Linux hardening, TLS, secrets management, least-privilege access models, and audit logging.
• Comfortable challenging requirements and helping stakeholders identify the most effective solution to the underlying business need.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building solutions with n8n.
• Practical experience developing LLM-powered applications, including RAG, function calling, agent-based workflows, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Graph API.
