IT Incident Response and Forensics Consultant III

The Incident Handler supports cybersecurity operations by monitoring, investigating, and triaging security events across the enterprise.

They analyze alerts, identify threats, determine scope and impact, and assist in containment and remediation efforts.

They collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings, improve security posture, and contribute to incident response processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assignments using current knowledge, following procedures, and collaborating across teams.
• Support proactive monitoring and respond to emerging threats.
• Communicate investigation results effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Identify opportunities for security improvements and work with policy and remediation teams.
• Conduct security investigations, perform data analysis, and support incident response activities, including containment and remediation.
• Participate in regular meetings and follow-up remediation reviews.
• Provide on-call and after-hours incident support as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years in IT, with at least one year in information security or network engineering.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on security best practices and incident handling.
