Title: Enterprise Architect (IT)

Location: Wichita, KS (open to relocation)

Onsite schedule: 5 days onsite

Duration: permanent

Salary: $95,450 - $146,350 - 165k

Must-haves:

• 10+ years of IT experience

• 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or IT Leadership roles

• Expertise across Business, Data, Application, and Technology Architecture domains

• Strong AWS and/or Azure cloud architecture experience

• Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments

• Experience evaluating enterprise technology solutions and ensuring alignment with broader business and technology strategies

• Strong stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills

• Experience developing technology standards, roadmaps, and modernization strategies

• Understanding of ERP, PLM, MES, and Cybersecurity platforms

• Experience identifying risks, costs, schedules, dependencies, and support constraints

• Knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices

Plusses:

• Aerospace industry experience

• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or flight operations environments

• Experience with enterprise AI initiatives and AI strategy development

• Background in enterprise modernization and legacy application rationalization

• Experience evaluating AI and cloud technologies for long-term enterprise adoption

• AWS and Azure certifications

Day to day:

Insight Global is looking for an Enterprise Architect to serve as the strategic bridge between business objectives and technology solutions within a complex aerospace environment. This individual will define enterprise architecture standards, develop modernization roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure technology investments align with long-term business goals. They will partner with leadership, business stakeholders, application owners, cybersecurity teams, engineering teams, and vendors to assess technology solutions, drive transformation initiatives, and establish scalable, secure, and sustainable architecture strategies. Additionally, they will evaluate cloud, AI, and enterprise application initiatives to ensure solutions fit within the organization's broader technology ecosystem and future-state architecture vision.
