About the team:
The Compute Engineering Services (CES) team provides first-level remote support to efficiently resolve customer-impacting issues. The team manages enterprise infrastructure installation and decommissioning, ensuring power distribution and cooling systems meet operational standards. Collaborating closely, members maintain system performance and reliability while following established procedures. Leveraging expertise in infrastructure maintenance, automation, and capacity management, the team supports business needs by focusing on operational excellence and continuous improvement. CES plays a critical role in sustaining essential IT infrastructure and enabling seamless technology services across the organization.
What you'll do...
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on infrastructure systems, including backups, patch management, and hot fixes to ensure optimal performance.
- Automate repetitive processes using scripting languages and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in analyzing business and technical requirements, contributing to solution design and documentation.
- Support capacity management by monitoring resource utilization and recommending rightsizing strategies.
- Configure virtual machines and manage system configurations to support core business applications.
- Maintain version control and documentation for code changes and deployments.
- Adhere to security and compliance standards throughout system design and implementation.
- Proven experience in system administration and infrastructure maintenance, including backups, patch management, and performance monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with coding standards and ability to write robust, maintainable code using languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Understanding of configuration, version control, and release management processes.
- Ability to analyze capacity requirements and optimize IT resource utilization.
- Effective problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- Project management capabilities to support infrastructure initiatives and improvements.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
