Primary Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support and management for enterprise-grade cryptographic appliances, PKI servers, and associated resources
- Analyze, identify gaps, design, build, and maintain a robust, secure, and compliant platform of cryptographic hardware
- Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline operational workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging technology and cryptographic trends to inform secure platform designs and strategic innovations
- Collaborate actively as an independent contributor within an agile-based team to deliver security goals
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support hardware cryptographic appliances and public key encryption (PKI) systems
- Perform occasional local travel to Optum data centers in the Twin Cities area as part of normal operations and on-call activities

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4+ years of equivalent information security or technology experience
- 1+ years of experience with cryptographic modules, hardware security modules (HSMs), or other cryptographic platforms
- 1+ years of experience managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ideally Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS)
- 1+ years of experience writing automation scripts leveraging Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
- Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation supporting hardware cryptographic appliances and public key infrastructure
- Ability to travel occasionally to local Twin Cities data centers for physical hardware operations
- CISSP or other security-related certification
- Cloud Infrastructure exposure in any of the major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) including MS Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with other Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms or practices
- Experience utilizing modern automation tools or technology platforms to streamline daily tasks, optimize workflows, and increase task efficiency
