Role: Senior Blockchain Security Engineer

Location: London HQ. No in-office requirements

Salary: up to £160,000 fixed + attractive bonus and benefits package

You'll be joining a growing security engineering function, with a focus on securing blockchain-connected infrastructure, cryptographic systems, cloud platforms and applications within a fast-growing, highly regulated FinTech

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building security solutions rather than simply reviewing them. You can expect to work closely with Engineering and Platform teams writing production-level Golang, automating security controls and developing secure infrastructure for incredibly highly-sensitive financial systems.

For this role, it's imperative that you have experience securing crypto/blockchain/digital asset environments

You'll be:

• Building security capabilities across blockchain, payment and cloud infrastructure.
• Securing cryptographic key management and HSM-backed services.
• Designing and implementing secure application and API architectures.
• Embedding security controls throughout CI/CD and the Secure SDLC.
• Developing security tooling and automation using Go.
• Implementing and improving SAST, DAST, SCA and threat modelling capabilities.
• Supporting secure blockchain and digital asset transaction infrastructure.

You'll need:

• 8+ years’ experience across security engineering, application security or blockchain security.
• Experience securing blockchain, crypto, digital asset or payment environments.
• Very strong AWS security engineering experience.
• Knowledge of application security, threat modelling and DevSecOps.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA or equivalent AppSec tooling.
• Understanding of secure APIs, authentication, authorisation and data protection.
• Experience working with regulated financial or payments environments is highly desirable.
• A strong engineering mindset with a track record of building and shipping security capabilities.
