Network Security Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in network security engineering to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in securing cloud environments and a deep understanding of modern security technologies and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure networking solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle Cloud Platform.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and automate engineering tasks.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage and secure cloud infrastructures.
• Monitor network security, integrate SIEM tools, and manage network telemetry.
• Implement and manage enterprise network security technologies, including firewalls, secure gateways, and network segmentation.
• Design secure SaaS environments and ensure safe integrations and connectivity.
• Integrate SaaS platforms with enterprise identity providers using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Support large-scale enterprise cloud migrations with a focus on security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Security engineering.

Required Skills:

• Experience in designing and securing networking in cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and security concepts.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and enterprise network security technologies.
• Experience with SaaS security solutions and secure access practices.
• Experience in integrating SaaS platforms with identity providers.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CCNP Security.
