Your Role
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards specific to fintech and digital financial services.
- Provide guidance and training to other engineers and staff on security best practices and industry trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate security considerations in the development and deployment of new financial services and systems.
- Lead incident investigations related to digital financial services and financial data breaches and provide reports to management.
- Research and stay current on industry security trends and technologies specific to fintech and digital financial services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial data protection regulations and standards.
- Provide oversight and guidance to other security team members to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities related to the protection of financial data in digital systems
- Contribute to incident response and disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Owners of this function make sure, that they follow the defined Policies & Procedures for the institution (which includes explicit processes defined for Tech, which are properly defined in the respective confluence spaces).
- Take ownership of the tech responsibilities as described in our Change Management Policies.

- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent professional experience.
- You have spent 2+ years in Cybersecurity or Software Engineering roles in a high-growth environment.
- Has proven experience within our core tech stack.
- Understands agile workflows and lean principles.
- Business proficient written and spoken English. German language skills is a plus.

The annual gross salary range for this position is:
€60.000 - €80.000 EUR
