We've partnered with a long term client of ours in the financial services space who are looking for a new Data Security Engineer.

Day to day role:

• You'll work within a collaborative Application and Platform Security function, engineering and automating security checks across platforms like Snowflake
• You'll Build custom API queries and scripts to assess configuration, access, and control effectiveness where standard tooling isn't enough.
• You'll help drive SSPM tooling deployment, risk identification, remediation, and security reporting that scales.

Required Experience:

• Hands-on experience securing enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Dataiku, Salesforce) and/or SaaS applications, ideally in large-scale or regulated environments
• Experience with SSPM and PaaS/SaaS security controls
• Experience with scripting/coding for API-driven security and compliance checks (Python/JavaScript ideally
• Strong grasp of IAM, data access governance, and shared responsibility models in SaaS ecosystems
• Knowledge of NIST, CIS, ISO etc
• Strong communicator who can translate security risk for technical and non-technical audiences alike
