Cloud Security Architect

About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to strengthen our multi-cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on AWS. You'll spearhead security initiatives, collaborate across teams, and drive best practices in our cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, Design and implement the organization’s cloud security architecture, covering cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
• Design and implement security controls for multi-cloud infrastructures and applications
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews of IaC deployments
• Lead security projects and provide expert guidance across the organization
• Implement and maintain secure coding practices and deployment processes
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design reviews
• Research and integrate emerging security technologies
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure comprehensive security measures
• Resolve security issues and implement improvements across platforms

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8+ years in cloud security roles, with 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience
• Strong proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security tools (CSPM, CWPP) and best practices
• Experience securing Kubernetes and similar orchestration technologies
• Expertise in encryption, identity and access management, security policies and network security
• Strong skills in automation and scripting for security processes
• Proven track record leading security projects in complex multi-cloud architectures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCSP or AWS Solutions Architect and AWS Security Speciality or any other cloud related certifications is a plus
• Experience with Azure and GCP, in addition to AWS
• Background in securing financial services or other highly regulated industries
