This role involves close collaboration with infrastructure teams to build and maintain high-performance database services within private cloud environments.

What you'll be doing

• Building and operating PostgreSQL database services on Kubernetes platforms

• Developing automated processes for rollouts using GitOps and Infrastructure as Code

• Collaborating with managed Kubernetes teams to ensure optimal infrastructure integration

• Managing updates, security patches, and versioning for database services

• Contributing to the expansion and optimization of additional cloud-based data services

What we're looking for

• Degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, IT, or Cloud Computing

• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL databases and Kubernetes environments

• Experience with PostgreSQL high-availability solutions, Linux, and OpenStack

• Proficiency in both German and English at a professional level

• A structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently
