Purpose
The Cyber Operations and Architecture Specialist will join the Cybersecurity and Information Security Division and act as a Service Owner for key Cyber Operations and Architecture services. The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent, high-quality and timely delivery of cybersecurity services, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes, service performance and alignment with the organization’s technology roadmap.
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the delivery of services within the Cyber Operations and Architecture pillar, ensuring quality, consistency and timely execution.
- Support the Cyber Operations and Architecture Manager in defining services, monitoring demand and providing meaningful metrics on service utilization and performance.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one core cybersecurity service area, while being able to actively contribute to the delivery of additional services across the pillar:
- Security Event Monitoring
- Log Analysis
- Security Incident Response
- Security Solution Design and Implementation
- DevSecOps practices and controls
- Security tools configuration and administration
- Enterprise Identity and Access Management
- Privileged Access Management
- Provide guidance and support to service contributors, ensuring standardized delivery, operational effectiveness and adherence to agreed quality standards.
- Develop, review and maintain service process flows, ensuring they remain effective, documented and aligned with operational needs.
- Collaborate with CIO divisions to ensure alignment between cybersecurity services, the technology roadmap and enterprise architecture principles.
- Represent the Division in internal and external working groups, audits and governance bodies related to the supervised service areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
- Up to three years of experience in a Specialist role within Cybersecurity, with hands-on technical involvement.
- Strong technical background across core cybersecurity domains, including cybersecurity operations, access management, security incident management, security engineering, vendor management, security architecture and troubleshooting.
- Ability to lead and coordinate teams or service contributors, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, solve complex problems and support change in a structured and collaborative way.
- Demonstrated competencies in leadership, communication, complex problem solving, team management, change management, stakeholder management and strategic thinking.
