Senior DevSecOps Engineer - GCP

Marshall Wolfe are hiring on behalf of our client, for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to help embed security within the Software Development Lifecycle and strengthen the security posture of a highly available, cloud-native platform running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes.

The role

• Manage security tooling across cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement automated security guardrails, controls, and policies.
• Secure and strengthen GCP infrastructure, including IAM, networking, and configuration management.
• Support security incident response and continuous improvement of cloud security practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience securing large-scale, high-availability environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Shell scripting for automation.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes security and container security.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, CI/CD security, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of API security best practices.
• Experience with security platforms.
