The incumbent will work closely with plant operations, cybersecurity, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and resilient IT/OT solutions aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Infrastructure Management
- Administer and maintain enterprise server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent technologies.
- Support enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor system performance, capacity utilization, and infrastructure health.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and lifecycle management activities.
- Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
- Manage cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, and security services.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance, and cost management.
- Support cloud migration initiatives and modernization programs.
- Support OT environments, including SCADA, DCS, PLC networks, and industrial communication systems.
- Collaborate with plant operations and engineering teams to ensure reliable IT/OT connectivity and integration.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of industrial network architecture.
- Support data collection, historian platforms, and industrial monitoring systems.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving incidents affecting critical plant operations.
- Implement cybersecurity controls across both IT and OT environments.
- Support endpoint security, identity management, access controls, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry cybersecurity frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments and support IT/OT security audits.
- Assist in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
- Support LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and industrial network infrastructures.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network segmentation strategies.
- Implement and maintain secure connectivity between business and plant systems.
- Monitor infrastructure availability and performance using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Participate in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Recommend improvements to system reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement technology solutions supporting business requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting OT, ICS, SCADA, DCS, or industrial environments.
- Experience in power generation, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or critical infrastructure industries is highly preferred.
- Experience managing hybrid IT and OT environments is an advantage.
