Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Security PKI & Cloud Environment Architect to support the development and implementation of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) required for new system development and customer commitments within commercial aircraft systems (BCA). This role leads product security and resiliency architectures across the entire lifecycle—from initial requirements and design through build, testing, and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & PKI Implementation: Lead the development, enhancement, and sustainment of product security requirements and architectures, focusing heavily on PKI integration for aircraft systems.
• Cloud Security Integration: Architect and secure cloud-based environments using AWS or Azure to support complex product security requirements.
• Lifecycle Security & Resiliency: Ensure end-to-end security of facilities, tools, data, networks, and resources used throughout the product design, development, test, and support lifecycle.
• Supplier & Regulatory Oversight: Define product security standards for sub-system suppliers and coordinate with regulatory bodies, customers, and industry groups to address risk and improve airworthiness/security compliance.
• R&D & Advisory: Lead research and development for innovative security solutions and advise internal teams and external customers on maintaining system certification during product modifications.

Key Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated technical experience in Product Security, PKI, and Cloud Architecture.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Core Technical Skills:
• Hands-on expertise with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) design and implementation.
• Direct experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud security environments.
• Strong background in system safety, threat modeling, or aerospace product resiliency.
