As An IT Engineer – Hosting & Security Operations, You Will Help Strengthen The Security, Resilience, And Operational Excellence Of The IT Environments Supporting Swisslog Customer Solutions. Working Within Our Managed IT Services (MITS) Organization, You Will Operate At The Intersection Of Infrastructure And Cyber Security, Supporting Both Cloud-based And On-premise Environments. You Will Assess Security Risks, Drive Improvement Initiatives, And Help Ensure That Critical Customer Systems Remain Secure, Reliable, And Compliant. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assessing the security posture of customer and Swisslog-managed IT environments
- Identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for improvement across infrastructure and hosting services
- Recommending and implementing measures to improve security, resilience, and operational efficiency
- Supporting vulnerability management and remediation activities
- Contributing to cyber security risk assessments, threat modelling, and governance initiatives
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of security tools and processes
- Driving automation and standardisation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve service quality
- Collaborating with colleagues across MITS and global teams to continuously improve operational and security practices
- Supporting the development of security capabilities within both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environment
What You Need To Succeed You Bring:
- Experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure, hosting environments, or managed IT services
- A solid understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, cloud platforms, operating systems, and security fundamentals
- Knowledge of cyber security principles such as risk management, vulnerability management, security governance, and infrastructure hardening
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments and an interest in applying security best practices
- A proactive approach to automation, continuous improvement, and reducing manual effort
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in cyber security engineering, security operations, or security governance
- Knowledge of security and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIS2, and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) or industrial environments
- German language skills
