Summary: We are looking for a Security Engineer who will work in our rapidly growing global team. You will work closely with our Security Architects and Engineering teams to help customers detect, investigate, and respond to security threats at scale, while continuously improving and automating security operations.
You will be exposed to multiple clients, environments, and technologies, with a strong focus on SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and cloud-native security platforms.
Responsibilities: You will be part of a team responsible for detection engineering, incident response support, and security automation for our customers.
Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain SIEM detection rules and use cases to identify security threats and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
- Analyze security alerts and support incident triage, investigation, and response activities.
- Integrate Threat Intelligence feeds into detection and response workflows to improve alert quality and context.
- Build and maintain SOAR playbooks and workflows to automate incident response actions.
- Integrate logs and security data from multiple sources into SIEM and Cloud Security platforms.
- Manage and investigate cloud security findings (CSPM, IAM, workload security, misconfigurations).
- Collaborate with customers to improve detection coverage and response maturity.
- Work according to industry best practices, frameworks, and security standards.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- The role requires to be a Singapore National able to pass Cat 2 clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or similar.
- 3+ Years of Professional experience as Security Operations, SOC, or Security Engineering roles.
- Practical experience in some of the following technologies: SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence.
- Understanding security fundamentals: logging, alerting, incident response, and detection engineering.
- Experience in Cloud (AWS, GPC or Azure).
- Scripting or automation experience (Python preferred).
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Strong consulting mindset as you will work directly with clients.
- (plus) Experience with Google SecOps (Chronicle SIEM / SOAR).
