Azure Infrastructure Engineer - Birmingham, with Hybrid remote working
We’re are hiring on behalf of a growing and well known Birmingham based organisation, for an Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role across its Azure and Microsoft 365 environment.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who is looking for a new role, or an experienced 3rd Line / IT Support Engineer who already has strong Azure & infrastructure knowledge and wants to develop further within a modern cloud environment.
You’ll get hands-on exposure to Azure infrastructure, including Entra ID, App Services, Storage, Backups & networking, Microsoft 365, Intune & Defender, PowerShell and automation as well as Infrastructure as Code using Bicep/ARM & Azure DevOps
This role will also involve Monitoring, troubleshooting & performance management. You will be well versed in Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS & IIS
This role demands someone with solid infrastructure fundamentals, a genuine interest in Azure, good problem-solving skills and the ambition to keep learning.
The client is based in Central Birmingham and you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week.
Role Summary
Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Birmingham city center - with hybrid remote working as detailed above.
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits - this may be negotiable for the right candidate.
